Change is something everyone will go through

Change is something everyone will go through. For Scout in the phenomenal best seller To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, she goes through change and matures very rapidly through-out the novel. This story is based in the small town of Maycomb, based in the 1930’s going through the beginning of the great depression. Scout grows in the novel due to three major characters influencing her and being role model’s characters such as Jem, Calpurnia, and Atticus.
First off, Scouts brother Jem was a major reason she learned to grow and mature during the novel. Jem being Scouts older brother is always looking out for her and teaches her thing he learned while he was growing up.
