Peer-to-peer coaching is a way to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience

Peer-to-peer coaching is a way to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience. As a team goes through the ‘storming’ stage of development they will be understanding each other’s strengths and weaknesses. This enables them to offer advice and help if it is needed.
It can also be useful when a member of staff goes on training that the rest of the room is not going on. They have the opportunity to discuss what they learnt through the training day and support the staff to implement what they have learnt.
I went on the ‘Planning in the Moment’ training and when returned shared the knowledge and was able to support the staff to get used to the new way of planning and observing.
